Travis C. Royston

Travis Royston, Owner, Auctioneer and Principal Broker, has been actively engaged in real estate Auctions for over 15 years. Mr. Royston was the 2006 Tennessee State Champion Auctioneer and finished in the top 16 in the International Auctioneers Competition in Orlando, FL. Mr. Royston is one of only 1500 Auctioneers in the world to have earned the prestigious Certified Auctioneers Institute (C.A.I.) Designation. This is the highest level of education awarded in the auction industry and is a three year program through the National Auctioneers Association through the University of Indiana. Mr. Royston has also obtained the Certified Estate Specialist Designation, and the Graduate Personal Property Appraisers Designation. Travis specializes in the appraisals of Equipment, Machinery, Tools, and vehicles.

Travis has been an active member of the Tennessee Auctioneers Association and The National Auctioneers Association where he has served on various committees and was appointed by the President of the NAA to the long range planning committee. Travis has served as an instructor at the Nashville Auction School and has conducted numerous educational seminars within his profession.

In addition to the above Mr. Royston has extensive development and construction experience in the local market. He is the owner of Royston Development, a full service Residential and Commercial Construction Company and is a State Licensed Contractor.

Travis is a life long native of Elizabethton, TN and during this time he has served his community in various positions. Travis has been an active member of the Carter County Chamber of Commerce where he has served on various committees as well as master of ceremonies for numerous events. Travis has served as a Board of Director for the Elizabethton Soccer Association as well as coached youth baseball, football, soccer, and basketball for over 10 years. Mr. Royston is a member and has served the Carter County Cattlemen's association as well as the local 4-H and agricultural programs for many years. He has also worked long side most all of the local County Planning Commissions, as well as surrounding private and governmental leaders.

Mr. Royston graduated from Elizabethton High School, Attended Northeast Community College, Graduated from Nashville Auction School, as well as graduated from the D & D School of Real Estate.

Travis has been happily married to his wife Lori Cole Royston for 14 years and they have three children Kaysi, Caleb, and Cash.

Lori Royston

Lori Royston, Realtor and Owner, handles all of the day to day operation for Royston Auction Company. She serves as the auction logistics and operations coordinator as well as auction set up supervisor. On auction day Lori serves as the clerk and oversees all office operations.

Mrs. Royston is a graduate of Happy Valley High School, Attended Northeast State Community College, and D & D school of Real Estate. Lori obtained her Graduate Personal Property Appraisers Designation and oversees all appraisal activities for antiques and household goods. Lori is a member of the National Auctioneers Association, the Carter County Chamber of Commerce, the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the Tennessee Cattleman's Association.

Lori has been happily married to her husband Travis for 14 years and they have three children Kaysi, Caleb, and Cash.

Edward Knight

Edward Knight, Real estate broker, professional auctioneer, ring man, and certified appraiser, serves as territory manager for Royston Auction Company in the following counties: Sevier, Blount, Knox, Jefferson, and Cocke Counties. Mr. Knight is a graduate of Heritage High school in Blount County, TN and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Agriculture Production from Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Since graduating from the prestigious Missouri Auction School in 1995, Ed has amassed quiet an impressive reputation for being not only a great auctioneer and ring man, but also for being one of the Nations most knowledgeable individuals in the fields of livestock, heavy equipment, and farm machinery.

His in-depth knowledge and talents have earned him the honor of being one of only three auctioneers in the United States to work full time with Euro Auction Company, a heavy equipment auction company with offices in Germany, Ireland, England, and Spain. Mr. Knight has graduated from the Professional Ring mans Institute and has competed professionally in Statewide and Nation events; he has obtained the Certified Personal Property Appraisal Designation with his concentration of expertise in equipment and machinery. In addition, Mr. Knight currently serves one of two auctioneers for the Athens Stockyard in Athens, TN and along with his wife Sarah and daughter Cheyenne, they manage to operate a farm in Seymour, TN. Stacy Whitson

Stacy Whitson, Realtor, serves as one of the listing and sales representatives of residential real estate for Royston Auction Company as well as a bid spotter at auctions. Mr. Whitson graduated from McMinn Central High School, proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and graduated from D & D School of Real Estate. Mr. Whitson recently graduated from Northeast State College and is currently attending East Tennessee State University. Mr. Whitson has been very active in the local real estate market listing and selling properties. He also is very active in his church and has served as a Deacon and Sunday School Directory for Calvary Baptist Church in Elizabethton, Tn. Jonathan Fulmer

Jonathan Fulmer, Realtor and Commercial Property Specialist, brings a wealth of management and development experience to commercial clients by specializing in representing companies with site acquisition needs, development initiatives, and industrial/commercial land sales. He has participated in assembling commercial deals for many years. Jonathan's experience contributes to his ability to identify and meet the objectives of those in the market with commercial property needs.

Jonathan graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a bachelor of arts degree. He received training from D&D school of Real Estate and has been actively meeting the needs of buyers and sellers since. Lisa Cole

Lisa Cole, Office assistant, clerk and cashier, has been affiliated with Royston Auction Company since 2008. Lisa is a graduate of Happy Valley High School, and recently graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. While working with Royston Auction Company, Lisa is also a full time donor services recruiter for Marsh Regional Blood Center and is a member of the Elizabethton Kiwanis.
